employment, partnership meetings, etc. A businessman is issued with a business visas only when it has been analyzed that the businessman has actual relationship between his company/business and the company/business in Denmark they are planning to visit.
As of the rule, the relationship with the company/ business organization should be developed prior to the businessman visiting Denmark and the purpose of his visit should be related to the business he is running in his country.
Note: This rule does not imply to the business applicants from Somalia and Syria, as they have different rules of obtaining a business visit visa.
Guidelines to be followed when applying for a Denmark Business visa
- In case you work permit regulations, then you cannot obtain a business visa for Denmark. This happens in a case where you act as trainee receiving payment while in Denmark, being employed by a sister company or subsidiary of a respective company or a transferred employee to a Danish company. In such cases, a business visa cannot be obtained and a work permit is eligible.
- When planning for business immigration to Denmark, you must receive a prior approval from the Denmark company you are going to visit. Doing so makes it easier and flexible for you to obtain the Denmark business visa.
- If it is an international corporate event and you have many participants accompanying you, then you or the concerned business authorities need to approach the government for a preliminary planning.
- Any kind of misuse of the business visa or using the visa to seek permanent or long term residency will turn down the application of the Denmark business visa.
